OUR CURRENT SERIES - "Self-INSufficient": Relying onGod
In our increasingly individualistic culture, we all try to be self-sufficient, but of course we aren’t. There is only One who is self-sufficient, and that is God. This five-part series turns our gaze from ourselves to the One who is wholly sufficient and shows us God’s grace and provision in our need for him and one another.
This week, we'll look at the story of the Widow and Oil from (2 Kings 4:1-7).
This story demonstrates God's abundant provision, even in seemingly impossible situations. It highlights the importance of obedience to God's instructions, even when they don't make logical sense. The story serves as a reminder that God can use even our meager resources to bring about miraculous results when we trust and obey Him.
